Policemen Missing In Zamfara After Attack By Suspected Rustlers

Three police officers are missing in Zamfara State following an attack on their outpost by gunmen suspected to be cattle rustlers.
The attack took place at Keta village in Tsafe Local Government Area on Monday, according to the Zamfara State Police Command.
Police Public Relations Officer for the command, Shehu Mohammed, said the missing police officers are believed to have fled into the bush during the attack and a search party has been dispatched to find them.
He denied reports that the trio had been kidnapped by the gunmen, adding that beyond searching for the missing officers, the police were on the hunt for the attackers.
The attack occurred one day before gunmen attacked policemen in Bayelsa State, killing one and injuring two others.
